U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps – Cadet Petty Officer Second Class Elyor Muhammadiyev attached to Michael Monsoor Battalion at Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton on Apr 8, 2023.
MCJROTC – Cadet Private First Class Robert Johnson at Oceanside High School on May 5, 2023 and Cadet Sergeant Daniel Wilson at Fall Brook High School on May 15, 2023.
NJROTC – Cadet Petty Officer Second Class Sabrina Carey at Ramona High School on May 21, 2023, Cadet Petty Officer First Class Jehu Perez-Gonzalez at Point Loma High School on May 23, 2023 and Cadet Petty Officer Second Class Adam Rabanal at Westview High School on June 5, 2023.

Additional congratulations to the graduating Class of 2023 Midshipmen assigned to NROTC San Diego Consortium who will be receiving their commissions as Navy and Marine Corps Officers and will adventure into the fleet in serving as commissioned officers in our armed forces this year.  A job well done!

Youth Program’s Chairman Shane Steinfeld revitalized the Council’s Youth Programs after a two year hiates. Upon assuming the role, he immediately established his commttee team and connected with the Sea Cadet Corps Commanding Officer and the NJROTC and MCJROTC Senior Instructors at five local high schools in the community to coordinate the presentation of the Youth Medal Awards. Most recently presenting the award to the Sea Cadet Corps Michael Monsoor Battlation Commanding Officer LCDR Valencia Jones at June’s Breakfast Event and for NJROTC Cadet PO3 Rayan Matin at Westview High School on June 6th and NJROTC PO3 Ana Lice Cipriano, Pt.Loma High School on base at MCRD on June 7th.
