Proceeds goes towards the Marine Corps Ball in sponsoring; two Junior Marines to attend. Tun Tavern was a historic colonial establishment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, widely celebrated as the birthplace of the United States Marine Corps. On November 10, 1775, the Continental Congress authorized the formation of the Continental Marines, and Captain Samuel Nicholas used the tavern as the very first recruiting station.
Proceeds goes towards the Marine Corps Ball in sponsoring; two Junior Marines to attend. It represents a highly revered tradition, signifying that a recruit has successfully completed rigorous training and earned the title of U.S. Marine.
